Belstaff's Tourmaster 3.0
Belstaff's consistent quality is a factor which has enabled the brand to continue its legacy throughout the years, from its humble beginnings during WW1 to becoming the go-to jacket for motorcyle racing in the 1920's. Belstaff were the first brand in the world to manufacture garments with Egyptian waxed cotton for 'breathable', waterproof jackets and thus catapulted the brand to new heights. This forward thinking combined with the classic heritage style Belstaff is notorious for is what has taken what was once considered just a practical jacket straight to the forefront of the catwalk.
Belstaff's long list of famous clients date back to the 1930's when Amelia Earhart and Amy Johnson were among those who favoured the Belstaff jacket and perhaps helped elevate its success. Today, celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Megan Fox, Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham have been seen sporting a Belstaff jacket; adding a cool, understated touch to complete their outfits.
Belstaff's anticipated collection for the S/S'17 season sees a small range of waxed jackets, quilted coats and a stand-out leather blouson, having already been showcased at London Fashion Week. Merging both masculine and feminine styles together to create a collection of biker-inspired jackets, the brand has seen it's reputation elevate to it's fashionable status it holds today with David Beckham as the face of menswear last season.
The Tourmaster 3.0 has been remastered this season and formed in a teal blue colour-way, offering a new and fresh look to the style. The antique bronze hardware has been kept as a signature detail to incorporate the heritage look of yesteryear and preserving this detail has led to this becoming the signature style of the brand.
The dark teal colour-way is perfect to step into the new season with and offers a burst of fresh colour to the collection. Featuring a zip and press stud fastened closure, a buckled collar cuff and Belstaff signature check lining, the Tourmaster 3.0 oozes style and captures the essence of the 1920's motorcycling years perfectly. Constructed from a durable waxed cotton, the women's Tourmaster is finished with the brand logo fixed to one sleeve and features a removable hood to transform into a more lightweight alternative.
