Pretty Green T Shirt Picks
It’s been a revelation in the fashion world- but thanks to the input from one of rock and rolls biggest names, that shouldn’t have come as a surprise to anyone.
From humble beginnings as a range of twin tipped polo shirts, Pretty Green has grown its influence over the world, showing off its rock and roll roots from London to Japan. Under the watchful gaze of Liam Gallagher, the iconic former front man of Oasis and now Beady Eye, Pretty Green has become the only true representation of a style that has encased a genre.
This season sees Pretty Green continue its march of fashionable dominance, with an eclectic range that ticks pretty much every box on the list of individual, music inspired fashion.
Key to the new collection is the diverse range of t-shirts-each as desirable as the next. Check out our favourite picks right here:
Featuring the unmissable face of Liam Gallagher, this Pretty Green t-shirt is a must have for anyone who is a fan of the brands iconic owner. Picturing Gallagher wearing a pair of Lennon sunglasses which feature the instantly recognisable Pretty Green paisley print, this t-shirt looks great in grey with a black print, and makes it perfect for wearing it with black denim.
A full body pattern gives this t-shirt an instantly striking look. Featuring the classic Pretty Green paisley covers the front and back of this tee, fading down the body as it fades into the marl grey colour of the body. This tee has enough detail to be worn alone, or layered under a jacket for a complete look.
One of the more interesting prints from the Pretty Green range, this particular t-shirt comes with its own unique story:
When planning the new collection, Liam reportedly asked for an apple print to be included in the range, as a celebration of The Beatles recording label, Apple Records.
This posed a few problems for the Pretty Green designers, as the label couldn’t be seen to be mimicking the logo of one of the world’s most recognisable brands, Apple Inc.
A meeting was held, and it was explained that for the apple print tee to go into production, it would have to have 5 points of difference from the iconic Apple Inc. logo. The first was obvious- there would be no bite in the side of the apple. The next three differences are in the physical shape of the apple- the stork is straight, not bent, and the two dips at the top and bottom are completely different.
However, there still needed to be one last final change. With the designers stumped, Liam got impatient, and told his design team to put a picture of his hand making the peace sign coming out of the stork to finish it off.
The idea was used, and Liam’s input can be seen on the Pretty Green Printed Camo Apple Crew Tee.
