Steeped in tradition, backed by heritage and advanced by timeless style, Lyle & Scott has become a key figurehead in iconic British fashion since it began to produce its now world-renowned knitwear.
The golden eagle of Lyle & Scott has flown from humble beginnings in 1874, when it was a small knitwear producer in a town called Hawick in the Scottish borders, founded by William Lyle and Walter Scott.
Now 140 years old, Lyle & Scott continues its tradition of classic craftsmanship and timeless style, with the release of its commemorative 140 Lyle & Scott range.
Paying homage to the labels development and growth to become an internationally recognised, the 140 range celebrates some of the brands most historic styles that have been accurately recreated from the Lyle & Scott archive.
With the original “L & S ltd” branding, the 140 range perfectly balances a reflection of Lyle & Scott past and present, making use of the iconic eagle logo in a tonal finish on the sleeve to show a modern day representation of the illustrious brand.
