Vivienne Westwood is a well known British designer known for her unusual and eccentric style. Propelling herself into the limelight after creating collections for Malcolm McLaren's boutique 'Sex' (now known as World's End) on King's Road, Vivienne Westwood established herself as a cult designer after her many creations were seen on the likes of the Sex Pistols due to McLaren becoming their manager. Together, their ability to synthesise music with fashion worked and so 'Punk' was born. Combining clothing that has the 'shock' factor with unusual cuts, Westwood has since become one of the world's top designers engaging working class elements into various styles.
