Hunters are adorned by the masses at festivals everywhere. Without a doubt, they are the go to brand for wellies when it comes to festivals. Hunter aren't just a welly brand, at festivals they're a fashion statement. Ever since Kate Moss was spotted wearing them at Glasto, people everywhere have followed her lead, as well as multiple celebrities and even royals. Hunter originals are a standard block of colour in either a matte or gloss finish. The iconic white Hunter label on the front of each welly is what is recognisable amongst festival goers everywhere. But festival season has been and gone and winter has now arrived, so the Hunters are still needed, especially as Britain is creeping into the 'worst winter' we've had for a decade, quick grab those wellies!
This is looking to be a favourite among the Hunter collection we currently have. The checked design on the back of the boot is very different to the style that Hunters usually provide and has a very country appeal to it. Wear with an outfit that's made up of one block of colour so that the boots stand out on their own, or match them together with a 'country look' with something like this Barbour Olive Dentdale Jacket.
This too, is a very different style of Hunter for a few reasons. The outside of the welly has a quilted effect with the famous logo branding that's usually on the front of the boot, moved to the side on a little tag which enables you to wear them as regular everyday boots without looking too much like your walking around in a pair of wellingtons all day. The shape of the boot is different too; the top has been designed in an equestrian style so that one side is slightly longer than the other which also flatters the leg. Black is also great for a daytime boot as they're not too loud as the other colours are.
The Balmoral Westerley is not your average wellington, its also a fashionable boot that can be worn from day to day. Still waterproof, this boot can be worn with jeans and a chunky knitted jumper or dressed up with some leggings and a nice top. Creams, browns and tan colours would go well with these boots and you can tell just by looking at them how sturdy and hard-wearing they are.
This boot has a block of two colours, which is a bonus as that's more colours to go with your outfit choice. As well as this, it has a large Hunter crest on the side of the boot. This also comes in a black option if the colour block isn't your thing. Have you noticed that this new range of Hunters are all named after royal places as these are a more upmarket range than the original.
The adjustable back wellies are handy in the fact that they can be made bigger or smaller on the calf. Usually, this is just the one size around this area. The adjustable strap is at the back of the boot so its hidden away but is outlined in a contrasting colour.
This is a new season colour and part of the colour popping new A/W collection. With the originals, there are no frills or added additions to the boot, they simply are what they are with a fabulous colour to go with it. Each season brings with it a new show stopping colour. Check out the Dark Ruby too.
This has a waxy feel to it and a grainy texture which is a beautiful aubergine colour. The Neophrene lining which is used in this boot is known for it's insulating properties which keeps your legs warm whilst also creating a snug fit. This is a great choice for the winter snow, no more wearing those three pairs of socks!
The short sized Hunters are a more versatile boot that could be worn with pretty much anything because they're not big, bulky or a stereotypical 'welly boot'. I'd wear a pair of these as though they are a normal boot and wear with skinny jeans and a cardigan. We have three bright colours in the short gloss to choose from as well as black.
