The Fabulous World Of Animal Print
Horse Print
French Connection have brought out a few garments this season featuring a horse print. Now you don't have to be a horse lover to like this style, for a long time now, animal images printed on clothing has been fairly big. Last year, there were loads of foxes on jumpers and remember when River Island brought out those fur animal hats that Winter...
What can I say about this jumper? Its classic, smart and quite fun at the same time. It doesn't look tacky as its not in colour, its black and white so it looks smart. Instead of the inside of the jumper being plain, the lining is in actual fact horse print too but a contrasting colour to the front.

This shirt is a thin, lightweight top that has the potential to create a dressed up outfit. I'd wear this with either black skinny jeans or trousers or even a pair of leggings. The best thing about the shirt is that its quite versatile; you could wear it to work with flats or on a night out with heels and a clutch.

Dog Print
Ted Baker's signature lining is a dog print design. This is incorporated into all of their new collection of bags and purses and as its the same dog print used every time, Ted Baker lovers instantly know the bag or purse is a TB item!
I don't know why, but when an item such as a bag or purse has a really nice lining, it just makes it that much nicer! Not that anyone really sees the inside, but it makes it that much more special, especially when its animal print! I've chosen a hot pink coloured bag as it goes nicely with the pink bow of the dog.

The print is even inside the Ted Baker purses! Something tells me Ted loves his dogs, as, as well as the inner lining of most of the latest collection, he has even brought out a collection of dog leads and women's bangles in the style of a dog lead (obsessed!) The best thing about the Titiana purses are the crystallised bow clasps. Its little details like this and even the little engraved message inside that differentiate Ted Baker purses to that of others and why they prove to be so damn popular!

Leopard Print
Leopard print is the most popular animal print people seem to wear. Its not all Kat Slater and Bet Lynch ya know, the leopard look can be worn classy too, providing you do it right. I don't know what it is about leopard print and why it continues to be so popular all the time, not just a trend for one season. Maybe its because its so versatile; it can be converted into other colours without looking stupid, the print may be enlarged or minimised, looks great with browns and golds or by simply adding a one off item such as a leopard print bag to create a clash- but a good one!
Check out the new Viviennes we have in. Leopard! The heels are an original colour of leopard print and I'd definitely call them a quirky shoe because of the toe feature. These would look great with a plain black dress and a tan coloured bag as an outfit choice. The Vivienne Westwood Anglomania X Melissa collection is a little more toned down but you can still see Vivienne's style poking through (such as the Lady Dragon shoes!) Melissa shoes are a Brazilian shoe design manufacturer, creating shoes that are eco friendly whilst also embracing Vivienne's quirky punk style within the collaboration which is then finished off with the Vivienne Westwood signature orb.

This pair are a more toned down look. I've used these in the Outfit of the Week this week and used the same grey colours these possess. There are also plenty of other leopard print items that are actually in the sale that need snapping up! My favourites are these Cheetah Classic Short Uggs and Ugg Amalia Leopard Sandal.

Mi Pac bags come in a wide range of prints and patterns. I noticed that these were a popular bag of choice for people at festivals this year. The bags are unisex but I think this one swings more towards girls. You can never go wrong with a leopard print bag, even if it is a backpack!

The great thing about this Maison Scotch top is the neckline and detail on the shoulder. When this top is on, the neckline goes straight across, showing off a little shoulder. The button detail at the side is then a little puckered as though that's what's stretching the neckline across. The rest of the top is baggy and loose to give a relaxed feel. See how I've incorporated it into this week's Outfit of the Week!

Bird/Butterfly Print
There are loads of animal print types, a few years ago I remember even peacock print was huge for a season (remember peacock feather earrings?) Our White Leaf scarves have all sorts of prints such as leopard, bird and butterfly.
The butterfly scarves come in three different versions of a butterfly print depending on how bright a colour you want the scarf to be. If you're looking for a scarf, I'd choose what outfit you're wearing first and choose a scarf around this. The scarves are quite long and thick and can be tied in a knot, wrapped around the neck or hung loose and free. There is actually a leopard print version too (of course)!
