From The Desk To The Dancefloor

If your intending on having a long day and your going straight out after work, fear not! You can do this by changing the smallest of garments around to suit that particular environment. Swapping one item can change the whole dynamic of an outfit. Most of the items I've used to do this are Ted Baker and French Connection, thrown together with added accessories.
The Office
A standard office outfit. A skirt, vest top and blazer combo. Even though the skirt is a little on the short side, its not clingy and if tights are worn with it then its fine suitable. I've teamed this with a plain vest top and a smart blazer over the top. The top should be tucked into the skirt to keep the look tidy. I've added flat shoes, unless heels are preferred, but this is more practical and tones down the short skirt. The Ted Baker bag is smart and big enough to carry all work papers and valuables and is a standard black to keep the look simple and not OTT for work. Tie hair back so the look doesn't look untidy and can be let down later on.30840 Blazer in New Updated Fit by Maison Scotch

After Work Drinks
By simply changing the blazer to a leather look jacket, loosing the tights and adding a scarf around the neck transforms the look from smart and professional to casual and on trend. The look doesn't need to be any more fancy because your simply jazzing the outfit up therefore the bag and shoes can remain the same for the time being. The scarf should be worn loose around the neck just to add a bit of colour.Riot Stretched Cropped Jacket by French Connection

On the Town
So, how do we dress this outfit up? The shoes need to be changed from flats to heels, we don't need the scarf any more but another accessory has been added: a belt. This belt should be tied around the waistband part of this skirt to cinch in the waist. The top should still be tucked into the skirt and you can't take a big bag out with you so that's been changed to a clutch! Finally, take your hair down so it hangs loose and with a comb give it a good back-comb to get rid of any bobble kinks and to get rid of the flatness! And wallah! All you've had to take to work is a pair of heels, a clutch, spare jacket and a scarf.Alenk Metal Cut Out Shoe Boot by Ted Baker
