The Best Of Neon

So as I've stated in previous blogs, neon is big right now. Fluorescents, neons and brights have a big place in people's wardrobes this Summer...
Ted Baker have brought out the biggest range of neon shoes and accessories this season. Their purse range in particular has had major success despite the heavy price tag. This yellow one is bright and something different from the average colour purse. I want one in orange and I particularly like the square 'TB' clasps. The great thing about purses is they don't necessarily need to go with anything. Its carried in your bag so doesn't need to match your outfit, so go wild with a lightening yellow!
Another Ted Baker edition are these flip-flops, perfect for taking on holiday and because they're plastic, they're waterproof too! The bow design is cute and stylish and prove why these are such bestsellers. As well as the on trend colour, there is an added stud detail on the bow. I'm going to invest in a pair for my Ibiza holiday.
These jeans are in season and bright and a more subtler form of wearing neon. They're a pair of blue jeans yet the colour of blue has been brightened up into a sharper, electric tone. Add softer, pastel shades or an additional neon to the rest of the outfit to compliment this colour, nothing too dark and deep because it won't look as good. Roll up the bottoms so they're slightly cropped and wear with a pair of Converse.

If you choose to go for a cheap pair over the Hunter favourites, you can still up the fashion stakes by wearing a pair of Hunter socks over the top. The great things about scarves like this are that they can be worn either round your neck or in your hair! Headbands have been big at festivals this year, especially flowered ones! This neon orange leopard print would look great with dark hair or tied round the neck against dark clothing to make the clash more visible.
So everyone's still wearing their converse and this pair would look great with a pair of denim shorts. I think girly girls will go for this particular colour the most. If I had a pair of these I would wear them with black jeans or leggings, a plain top and a Ted Baker neon pink bag to match. The Hi Tops are a more quirky version of the All Star converse, so have a go at experimenting with a kooky outfit to match.
If you want something different to a gold or silver watch, Ice watches are the go to brand. Their range of watches come in all sorts of different summery colours, a lot of them neon too. I've picked out this indigo one because its a little different to the other vibrant shades but its still neon. If you want an even brighter tone, I'd recommend looking at other Ice Watches as they're all vibrant.
If your taking your Kindle on holiday with you, you'll need a case. If I owned one, I'd definitely be getting this but as I don't I'll just stick to the I Pad one! The quilted texture will keep the kindle protected, especially when shoving it in your bag quickly when the planes getting ready to land! The case comes in black too but I definitely prefer the pink!
These Lacoste sunglasses are the perfect shade of neon. Not too vibrant and because they're slightly transparent, they're more toned down. Coloured sunnies are the new black; they're more fun and you'll seem more approachable. When I went on holiday in March, a large majority of people were wearing coloured sunglasses, I think people are getting bored with standard colours and are wanting something different now.
This bag may be too bright for some people but I love it. Its also not too big, its sort of a mini shopper and the yellow and pink together are a great neon contrast. Bags I've had in the past have ended up being bad quality and general wear and tear has created rips and holes whereas this would survive come wind or rain!
