Its the small, dainty details that distinguish Maison Scotch apart from other brands such as a dangly charm or an intricate stitching detail. Right on trend with its Aztec inspired stitching, bohemian feathers and boxy tees, Maison Scotch are the ones to watch this season. Have a look at this stitching detail on this shirt; one of my favourite pieces from the collection. This could just be a simple shirt that would be too plain for my liking, yet with the added tribal effect embroidery, the shirt has been completely changed. The colours in the stitching enable you to choose which road you want to go down in terms of accessory colours.
Here are a selection of my personal Maison Scotch favourites. With each garment, I've shown how you can create totally different looks. Be a fashion chameleon and change your look every day to avoid the 'same old, same old' routine.
What I love about this shirt is the fact that its a straight forward shirt but with an added twist. The tiny turquoise charm makes the shirt stand out from any other. I think they definately got it right with choosing the turquoise colour; its bold, stands out and totally unique, especially against the backdrop of a rustic orange colour. This is a subtle take on this season's Aztec colour clash. Its this contrast of colours that enables the shirt to work. The shirt is also made out of silk so imagine how comfortable and light it would be. Definitely worth the money for an on trend silk shirt. I would wear this with a pair of skinny jeans seeing as the shirt will be looser, a pair of heels and its definitely worth investing in a turquoise clutch bag to match the charm.
These would go very nicely with the shirt above. In fact, scrap the skinny jeans, I'd probably wear these. The velvet fabric makes it different from a standard pair of jeans, they'd be a lot more comfier too.
This top has an all over American feel to it. I like that its fitted and the best look for this would be to wear it with navy skinny jeans and a pair of white Converse. All you need now is a pile of books in your arm and wallah! your an American student.
These are another on my wishlist. They definitely look better in real life, the zigzag print of black and white is not shown to its full potential on camera. These would be ideal to wear to the airport before a holiday. The thin, silky material and elasticated waist ensures comfort and coolness and I'd just stick a vest top with it, maybe add a necklace too.
This sweater can be dressed up or down. Sometimes there's nothing I love to wear more than a loose jumper and some jeans. Casual and comfortable. To completely change this laid back look, add a large statement necklace over the top, something proper chunky. Don't wear big earrings with this though, its too much. The boxy fit is also on trend bring a little cropped, not so much showing off the stomach but shorter than the regular jumper.
