The days of denim being purely for your jeans are dead and gone (JT and T.I. know). Expand your denim horizons and find out how to work the magic blue fabric into your shirting, jackets and the little details that make your wardrobe complete.
Before we get stuck in to the nitty-gritty of who what and where, let's talk why you should be thinking about working denim into your look this season.
Denim gives you a texture that nothing else can offer, making it ideal for working into any look, whether it's double (or triple) denim, or something to mix and match with your look.
Denim connoisseur or not, no man should keep denim purely for their legs.

We know what you're thinking- 70's throw back revival? Wrong. Denim jackets are back and bigger than ever, as one of the most diverse pieces to sit in your wardrobe. Feeling casual? Chuck it over the top of a plain zip through hoody, or just an easy printed or slogan t-shirt. For the chap who's in the dapper mood, experiment with wearing your denim jacket with shirting and ties. If you're struggling for ideas, stick with the classics. A basic coloured oxford or gingham check with a plain woollen tie will tide you over until you feel more daring… Check out the G-Star ranch denim jacket for a style that is perfect for casual wear-the stitching detailing on the chest pockets make it the very best in chuck on and go style. The Diesel Elshar denim jacket has the right wash and cut for when you want to look like you're rocking a well though out style. Wear it over the top of a well chosen shirt and tie combination, and fasten one middle button. Don't be afraid to play with these looks- and remember the golden rule- darker denim on your legs, lighter denim on your chest. You'll find that denim jackets allow you to do what you like- you could wear a pair of crisp white converse hi tops with both of these looks and still look the part.Denim Shirts at Masdings.com
Not many of you will be strangers to the concept of a denim shirt-however, it is worth mentioning the options you have when wearing one. First off there's the no brainer's; button it up to the top and forget you ever put it on… or wear it open with a t-shirt and get a few extra points for layering. Maybe an option for a Saturday night, but ultimately, you're going to need to raise the style stakes a little. Try linking your denim shirt with a few accessories-ties and bow ties, with raw denim jeans and brogues for a smarter look. Fancy something more casual? Get your hands on some Adidas Adistar trainers, a pair of coloured Dockers chinos and a deconstructed navy blazer for a well thought out day to day look. If you're starting out with raw jeans, you have to pick a denim shirt that contrast relatively well. The Replay and Levi denim shirts give some brilliant washes. If you're going for a shirt to link with chinos, go as dark as you like and try the Diesel Sonora denim shirt, or the G-Star A-crotch shirt. Take a quick glance at the Pearly King shirts too. They do a great job of spicing up a classic style with some wicked added extras like pattern and leather collars, making a quirky stand out style a piece of cake. It's in the denim details
