The Masdingscom Review Wimbledon 2013
Cue the annually overcrowded tennis courts, and crack out the strawberries and cream, Wimbledon's back for another Summer.
Still reeling from the memory of last years men's finals tragedy of Andy Murray losing out to Roger Federrer, the coming tournament looks set to be one of the most competitive yet, with some world class players contending whilst in hot form.
The nation will be routing for Andy Murray, who is fresh out of winning the Queens cup at this years AEGON tournament, and still on a high after winning his first grand slam at the U.S. Open- could this be the year he finally gets the Wimbledon title?
Tennis legend John McenRoe is tipping Serbian Novac Djokovic to take home the men's singles trophy, and Serena Williams to take the women's. Both are in hot form heading into the Summer, so these could prove to be a very wise pick!
Personally, we've got the feeling that this could the year for Rafael Nadal to lay his claim back on the Wimbledon trophy. He's come back from injury well after winning the French Open, and will be itching to prove himself on a grass court.
Obviously, you can't rule out the mastery of Roger Federrer, but we're all excited to watch Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga play too- he's an exciting player with a lot of talent, power, and has huge potential.
Go court side and grab yourself some Wimbledon style
Lucky enough to be off to SW19 to catch a game? Make sure you're prepared for the Great British weather, with a heavy dose of English style.
Even if you've managed to bag a seat on centre court, you're still going to need a decent light weight Summer jacket to keep you warm and dry- after all, we've all seen how useless they are with that fancy retractable roof, haven't we?
We recommend the Peel jacket by Barbour, cut with a longer length, made fully breathable and waterproof, it comes finished in navy with a tartan lining for that perfect classic British look.
Nothing says tennis fan quite like owning a piece of British tennis nostalgia with the infamous Fred Perry laurel on the chest. We've opted to go against the norm and leave the polo shirt at home, opting for this dark madras check shirt in the interest of gentlemanly attire.
You'll need this Ted Baker slant face watch to make sure you're on time and don't miss a single serve!
Keep this Fred Perry bag slung over your shoulder to keep together all your essentials- tickets, drinks, who knows, maybe some sun cream if you're lucky!
